Come by floatplane from Bettles, Alaska and enjoy a few days at the Peace of Selby Wilderness Lodge. Located in Gates of the Arctic NP, we offer a small, full service lodge overlooking Selby Lake and remote self-service cabins. When the float plane comes for your return to Bettles, make a stop in Kobuk Valley National Park for the day.

Summer Wilderness Activities

We custom design with you, your adventure at Peace of Selby Wilderness. Your activities may be taken unguided or can be done at your leisure as guests of the Lodge. Hunting

Big game hunting has a long tradition in Arctic Alaska. The Lodge and 3 of our 4 rental cabins are located in the Gates of the Arctic Preserve. In the Preserve unguided hunting of big game is permitted. These rental cabins are located in prime big game habitat. Hunting season begins in September.
